If one were to grab a sportback, mate it with a GSR transmission and do a custom tune, would it work?
I'm wondering whether or not you would need an evo ecu as the 4b11t is slightly different from the ralliart and the X.
I understand no one would probably know if this is possible, but I would totally grab one in ralliart trim if somewhere down the line (after warranty) it could be converted to a manual.

Unless something is different about the RA, I've never heard of an engine ECU caring about what transmission is attached to it. There's usually a seperate ECU down the line that controls the trans (if its an auto, or in this case a SST), but if there's nothing there, the main ECU goes on about its business.
