Well I have heard of lots of trans swaps in Mitsus. In the states 8G Galant guys used 3G Eclipse manuals, and overseas I have heard of a Evo VII GT-A (Auto) being converted to manual.

Hmmm that galant swap seems really interesting. I've always loved the galants but i'm married to my shifter

Very nice! I think that's the first pic I've seen of the sportback in white. I love it. Now I just need to decide if I want a Ralliart or GTS... Oh, and Mitsubishi has to announce what, when, and how much

Unless you're being sarcastic, I don't get how anyone could love that design. To each his own I guess.

I was stuck trying to decide which one i wanted as well. The Ralliart or the GTS.

I do a lot of outdoor activity, i was actually looking to buy an SUV (nissan xterra) then wounded up here. The Ralliart is really fun but its harsh and it drinks almost as much as an SUV!!!

The GTS was in between. It was comfy and the Manual tranny was really smooth. Just so you know the RA only comes automatic.

RA - $33,500(can)
GTS - $23,500(can)

same crap
They say it's bliss...........you must be one blissful guy!

The twin clutch transmission is the "same crap" used in the new top end Lambos, Bugatti Veyron (253.81 mph), and the new GT-R. It takes a while to develop the skill set to get the most from these type of transmissions. Once you do, you won't miss that 3rd pedal one bit IMO. Don't fear new technology, especially technology that has proven itself like the twin clutch transmission, embrace the twin clutch....come to the dark side.

well, i don't mean its crap. It's not for everyone especially for someone who's been driving standard for awhile. But I sometimes wish i had automatic for those long night shifts driving home at 3am...

I dont know. Stock they are both unpleasant to the eye. But I have seen the older Lancer lowered with super clean wheels. It was quite sexy to see. This new sportback just isnt quite there. I'm sure its easier to load larger items but is it worth buying? This coming from someone who only buys hatch/liftbacks.
