when is the release date? are they refreshing the Lancer DE/ES/GTS for 2010 at the same time? Everyone is stuck talking about the next evo (if it will be an 09 or 2010) I just wanna know if the regular lancer will see any changes. The 09 lancer was out last spring so does that me the '10 will be out in a couple months????

On mitsu press release site it says it's slated for the summer of '09.

I doubt you will see any changes to the regular Lancer. They will most likely run it mostly unchanged for 5 years. MY2012 would be a whole new Lancer.

They need an evo version of this thing with more aggressive styling and I'm doing a trade right quick.

Coming from someone who owns an X, that's pretty funny

Just be happy that a new model of car is coming out with the potential to keep ol' in business a bit longer. After all, no Mitsu, no EVO!

uhmmmm now i can picture Sebastian Loeb driving these cars
i was expecting these shape changes
Evo doesn't battle at World Rally Championship anymore. they have to cut weight and size like subarus if they want to be in the battle again
Ford did it, Citroen did it. Mitsu is doing it now

So I'm somewhat uneducated in Mitsu's but do all RA Lancers come with the sport tronic paddles? I was messing around with the Mitsu's website and it seemed as though there maybe no standard 5spd option for the RA which I found somewhat disappointing.
