2011 GSR price out the door

My dealer is telling me i can order a gsr 2011 out the door for 31,500. What do you guys think? Seems like I should do it.

On the informational side of things I'm posting this here in the future section so all with know how much the '11 is going for...

Well, I guess it's an "S"... the 2011 base GSR's have the full sized/wing spoiler.

That price is for a 2011 base price.

I bet the base gsr for 2011 has HID now, but I don't know for sure....

At 31,500 seems like a good deal for a 2011, but I don't know maybe it's $500-700 too high?

I want white and there are no more 2010 ww GSR in port.

They only have white/black 2010 MR in port.

So, what do you think.. good deal or ask for a better deal?

The base should not have HIDs, as there is still the "SS" option, which is sight and sound. I'm pretty sure "sight" is refering to HIDs
Also, "out the door" usually includes taxes, and looking at that price I don't think that is the case.
Thanks for posting the info though

That price isn't going to be out the door IMO. That is what the base 2010's are still going for, so he is going to add all sorts of hidden fees and taxes to that.

No I'm in Missouri. It's out the door. The additional fees that are normally tacked on at the end (for our state) is destination/delivery, and dealer document fee. Most charge $700-800 for DD, and $200 for document fee.

So, for me $31,500 is what I pay the dealer which includes DD and doc fees.

SS does = sight/sound. Your right, should still have the same lights. I'm guessing the package option might be cheaper because your not getting the wing. Isn't it about time Mits release the rest of 2011 line, geez..

Base 2010 gsr can be had for $30,000 + 200 doc fee. I'm looking at 1,300 more to get the '11

Wow that's a good price round these parts I just saw an 08 gsr for 30k and a new se for 39k. When I get a new evo I'm definitely looking elsewhere.

Is that WITH sales tax? MO has a 4.225% sales tax on new car sales.

I would think there would be a small increase in base price, especially with the new spoiler. You may want to check edmunds, etc to see if invoice pricing is available yet. I would also assume the SS package is cheaper without it, but is most likely a wash with a 2010 with SSS.

We don't pay sales tax at the Dealership in Missouri. This price is an out the door price without paying sales tax.

Judging from the replys here, and from what I've researched this seems like a good deal. I asked for a better deal today. Asked them to meet me in the middle. Got shot down promptly. I don't want to **** them off, but just like they're in it to make money I have to do what's best for me too. Besides, I used to be in sales. It's just part of the process. Nothing worse than looking back 6 months later knowing you paid too much.

Anyway, checking prices for accessories now.

No, I'm guessing you're in the same boat because it looks like you have an MR on order. How did you work out pricing? What time frame did they give you.

For me basically what it came down to is I wanted a '10 for 30,200 out the door (not including tax). I also want one that has not been sitting around at another dealer that my dealer has portered here... I never understood why people do this. Just go to the other dealer. Anyway, I told them I want the car right off the transport truck. I want to do all the detailing. This has worked for me in the past. Nobody is going to detail your car better than yourself....if you know what your doing. So, what it came down to is mits is out of '10 gsr ww in port and they gave me the offer on the '11. That's how I got my price. On a side note they do have blk/white MR '10's in port available if you want one fresh off the boat.

Sounds like a fine price given where you live. There are deals in So Cal but outside of this area I dunno of any other dealers being competitive. I personally think the 2011 pricing is going to be the same as 2010, with maybe a small hike like $500 if the big wing is now standard.

I don't understand how you can not pay sales tax though, but maybe I'm just jealous. Only when I lived in Oregon (no state sales tax) did I get away with that. Do you have to go to the DMV and pay taxes there?

i think its better for you to wait for the car to arrive then get down to negotiation
its not like the car is highly in demand and will sold out in an instant
if u order it now or sign it
u are legally bind to it and if theres better deal else where...your basically f**k....
