Keep The Evo Alive, Facebook campaign

This is confusing because some people say it's merely a rumor while some say it's true... :\ Nonetheless, I hope the FB campaign will be successful! 4000+ members already, wow!

This is NOT good news guys. Until we know exactly what they mean by "regulations and market feedback will dictate its engineering package and architecture" its likely they intend to turn the evo into another toaster. Jalopnik made a good point, if they can't continue as it was, we all need to let it go.

My prediction is that Mitsubishi is going to do like every other automaker is attempting and try to create a hybrid sporst car, so that they can call their full line of "Green" cars (although the creation of the batteries creates more waste than a couple of cars combined) and still have a "sports car" in the line.

Since well before the threat of termination, Mitsu has been saying they were going to hybridize the next EVO. They've even considered going diesel.
