Mitsubishi Mirage...EVOLUTION?!
seems like the "evolution" name will be extended to more than just the LANCER:

Reminds me of a Toyota Yaris.. Mitsubishi really is trying hard to upset their loyal customers, and making their own demise.
Make a comeback, bring the Evo 11 as a Turbo-Diesel (NON-hybrid) and make a new 3000GT.. I'm sure many of us would do with either.

2,000 lbs. I do not believe it will be AWD, that's some heavy hardware. Most likely FWD and competing with the likes of the MS3, Ford Focus ST, etc.
Still 150 hp seems a bit low, even for a 2,000 lbs car, maybe it's just me.

Honda has trouble selling a Fit? AFAIK, its market share is growing to a degree where Honda is able to raise the price of the car with ever incarnation, while offering no incentives to garner additional sales. They can't make enough. Mitsubishi could certainly see a fate worse than this.
Why oh why
When will mitsu make a real EVOLUTION again... I get that they want to contniue to evolve but this is walking backwards... They are killing the prestiege, the history of a glorious street beast
Thats it...im debadging my car

I don't think we'll ever see a car like the Evolution again. Seriously. With ever increasing regulations and mandates, everything takes us further and further away from that special bond between the pilot and the machine. Electric power steering, drive by wire - what once were mechanical switches are acting like buttons on a keyboard, high belt lines to accommodate safety standards cocooning the driver. This sucks. Sure, speed will be there, as will the impressive skidpad stats. I just don't get the yearning to drive the thing.
