sigh, i miss the old evo iv to evo ix looks... these so called evo 11 dont even look "evo" anymore.... if i wanted a non-evo looked car id prefer getting something else.

 

You realize you are talking about a 18 to 8 year old car, depending on which model you prefer.

Are the Evo I to III not "EVO" because they don't look like the IV to IX? I LOVE the VI.. I LOVE the VIII and IX. But you can't seriously expect a manufacturer to continue the same body style for 18 years. Mitsu couldn't even make a car exactly like the IX now if they wanted due to newer safety regulations.

If this is the XI, I think it looks aggressive. The back is different, but I used to hate the rear of the X's and they have grown on me. could have def done worse.

Those old cars will soon be 25 years old. You can buy one, or pick up an old Mirage and do a conversion. Its not like Mitsu is stopping you from having an old looking Evo by introducing a new one.

 

Why is it the new sti looks like the evo and this new evo looks more like an sti? WTF

Whats even more amusing, is that the Evo X looks like the old Impreza P1, and the new STI, looks like the Evo X.

Very nice. The renders keep getting better. Hard to imagine how Mitsu keeps the Evo sub $40k with all that new tech though.

 

I agree, I envision this being in the vette price range the way they keep cramming all the tech in this car. The only potential up-side will be the better gas mileage for use as a DD but then again that's why we have beaters......

 

they need to revise and bring back the 4g63 with mivec on the intake and exhaust
