2014 Lancer Evolution
By chance, did you look at the first post or read any of the comments? This thread is about Mitsubishi continuing the X in 2014. No mention was made of an electric car. The XI will be a hybrid, but that is not what is being discussed here.
Rumors are spreading like wildfire that Mitsubishi Motors North America won't even be around after 2013. With .9% market share, and sales down 20% over the previous year. Have to wait and see. I'm sure if they put out a new Evo it will be sick, but
is screwing up big time with the corporation itself. If the company isn't around, no evo either.

First info I got on EVO MY14 is similar to Tristans, it will most likely be same model performance wise as MY08. But 2014 is far away so we shall see if there is anything new(apart from some MINOR dashboard change)...
Maybe they will do a one year run with the X like they did with the IX. Change the front end a little add a few things.. The IXs were only a MY06 so maybe they will make a special MY14.
I highly doubt it.. Just saying.

- Mitsubishi Eclipse coupe
- Plymouth Laser coupe
- Eagle Talon coupe
- Mitsubishi Mirage sedan
- Eagle Summit sedan
- Mitsubishi Galant sedan
- Dodge Avenger coupe
- Chrysler Sebring coupe
- Dodge Stratus coupe
- Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder convertible
- Mitsubishi Endeavor sport utility

2. The shut down of Mitsubishi Motors North America is likely to have little impact on Mitsubishi overall, they will simply shut down the North American arm, and continue to import.
3. The entire thing was setup as a joint venture with Chrysler, which is now owned by the Italians, so it's no big surprise to me that they would consider shutting down.
4. This thread is about the 2014 Evolution, so I will get back on topic.
I am curious to see what options they make available for the new model year and what tweaks might be headed our way.
I was under the impression that the 2014 lancer would be a total redesign followed by a 2015 Evo. If that's true I don't see a 2014 Evo X. Dealership I have purchased my last 6 Mitsubishi's have also not heard of a 2014 Evo for the U.S. It will be interesting to see what happens.
