Been having hard time trying to find an MR with premium pkg in the right color so I might wait till the 15s come out. Any other drastic changes other than not having Recaros anymore?

no recaros and no brembos if internet rumors are to be believed. on the plus side, you should get a factory backup cam per the new rules. I feel your pain about trying to get a specific combo of color and options. searching for mine took 6 months and when i did find it it was the only one in the country in the color and options i wanted.

 

Back up cam for brembos and recaros? No thanks...

 

Damn, they are ditching the Brembos as well?? That kinda sucks. I could care less about a backup cam, seriously if you cant back up car without a camera then you shouldnt be driving!

Something to do with the side mirriors an turn signals on them is what I heard is something new.

 

And I thought being the last year they would fill them up with more stuff.

Well, Maybe they are making a X RS as the final model.

One of the rally guys on here posted his EDM RS. No radio, small wheels, no brembos, no recaros, etc.. Really stripped down model. But it didn't matter because he would have swapped all that anyway.. But if it doesn't have any of those things, it better be many $$$ cheaper..

I honestly don't believe any of the internet rumors. There will be recaros and brembos IMO..

 

If they actually dropped the price to reflect the exclusion of those parts than sure, but keeping the price the same or higher, and adding less desirable or costly features in their place would be their way of saying they're sick of selling vehicles.

 

i agree with UQAKIRK, doesn't make sense to make changes to a vehicle going out of production. Seems to me like they would produce enough models to run through the parts available, then done. But since there is no official word on this...LET THE ENDLESS SPECULATION CONTINUE!!!!
