Well that doesn't sound good...
I believe the current Lancer (non-evo) platform can be refreshed, refined and improved upon. New interior, new sheetmetal.. they can do it. Market it well, keep the Ralliart. It wouldn't take much! Re-design the sportback into a hot hatch. Its a good foundation, build some good cars and make some money while the concept cars are developed.

I don't see this as bad. Honestly not sure why they don't do this with the evo. They said no new development, not no production. That means they'll still sell it, it just won't get any updates. I think Mitsubishi wants to focus on crossovers and AWD. Those are hot sellers, at least around here.

Oh come on, the Lancer wasn't ugly to begin with. And it looks better then any of its counterparts from other manufacturers. Different wheels and a different color.. I think it will look good.

I swung by the saddest display at the Chicago autoshow last weekend to take a look at the '16 Lancer. The interior is exactly the same as my '15. Only a fascia refresh as far as I can tell.
