The base 8 over there is about 42.150 in USD
The top-of-the-line FQ 340 is about 57,950 in USD
Assuming the MR is about what the FQ 340 is, and assuming it's about 1.4 times more expensive to buy a car in the UK (Divided 42,150 by 30,000 the rough price of the 8 with wing and sunroof) that would suggest that the MR would MSRP for about $41,400 if we actually get it.
I know it's a guesstimate, but you won't be seeing a $35K MR in any dealer showroom in the USA, that's for sure.

Prices do not convert from the UK to the US directly from the exchange rate. Our car will be different anyways.

Im sure it will be a direct competitor to the spec but think of this, The regular EVO cost less then the sti so its quite possible the spec c will cost 36k+

I heard recently Mit got into a very big lawsuit in Japan due to wheels flying off from the car and CEO and couple top guys were arrested and Chrysler holds about 55%-60% stock of the company is not willing to spend anymore money to any future project to support Mit. So the MR might be delayed =/

Taxes are hugely different in the UK.
There is a 25% Car Tax, then a 17 or 19 percent VAT added to that total (yes, you pay tax on the tax...). IIRC there's a couple of other minor taxes that get added in as well, or used to be. I'll refrain from any editorial comment regarding the honour of being allowed to fund the British establishment to this degree...
