POLL: How many ppl ordered MR. Another words how many sold.

I know there is already a thread on ordering an Evo MR but I'm am curious on the actual number from fellow evoM buddies are buying one on this forum

1. Remember make sure you get a signature from the manager or the owner of your dealer.
2. Make sure you leave a deposit to seal the deal with the paper work!
3. Don't forget to have the paperwork state #1 or #? to be locked into the eariler car.
4. Dont' let dealers play games like we'll call you back after we figure out how much over MSRP. They will say stuff like it's too early or etc. If your giving a deposit i don't see why they would not be interested unless they are planning for dealer markup?

Please feel free to state if your getting one at MSRP, location of your dealer and the number position on the list.

I'm getting mine from Renner (WAUWATOSA, WI) from a good guy on this forum
3k down.
#1 on list for MSRP
So far 6/6 Diamond Stars

So far based on the demand it looks like the MR will be rare. Anyways, perhaps a lot of STi owners are going to take most of the MR market Only time will tell i guess.

We will probably will not know until the allocation are given to the dealers. I guess it depends which goodies comes with the MR such as Leather, auto climate, or infinti sound system? Personaly i hope the standrad MR is cloth seats with no radio for 32-33K. The magazine say under 34 or something? If this is true i guess it is possible to see prices upward toward 35 grand but i doubt it unless the spec c is priced according.

I ordered mine at the middle of April so I got to be first on the district list. Ordered out of Iowa from a friend at MSRP with a $500 deposit.

Are ppl wanting the MR for its features of just because its name? Personally I would rather get a regular EVO with the ACD. The extra loss for 300 lbs for the MR might be good for stock racing but who races stock anyways. The aluminum roof might be cool to have but not in North Texas. Too many damn hail storms. Anyways does anybody know if the US ACD will be different from the JDM one?

I think its neither people getting it for the name. Or people getting it becuase they love the track. But why get the MR when you can get a Elise. I was thinking of getting one but, I after I thought about it I just wanted that six speed and the name and the warranty. <--(i think) I guess. I mean that 300 pounds would make a difference on the track. But for day to day use ( which i am planning to use the car as a daily driver ) i think that the EVO is plenty fast for me.
