Is there some rumor about EVO FQ330 arriving in US?

Isnt the MR the FQ330? Or is that just a upgraded version of the MR.

 

The numbers were changed lately.

The older VIIIs were FQ 300 and 330
the MR based versions are MR FQ-300, -320, -340, -400 (soon)

 

that's right.

I'm not sure about the US. I don't know what Mitsubishi are like in the US, but to upgrade to bigger hp (probably not called the FQ)....they would have to provide warrantys to suit...and it's touch and go in England, so I doubt the US would allow it....maybe

Never happen. We're lucky to get the MR. Heck we are luck to have 3 versions of Evo!

 

The U.S. MR is just an upgraded GSR. Not a 300, 320, 330, 340, or the limited edition 400. All the mr has for power is the turbo nozzle and the BOV.

 

The US VIII is not a GSR. The US MR does not have the JDM MR BOV. No one but the UK have any FQs.

All the US '05 Evo share the 10.5 CM hotside housing and other engine improvements.

 

I don't think that the UDSM cars have the new cams that the JDM cars have.
