Evo X?

This is in the September issue of CAR magazine. I hope the image looks less grainy than it did when I scanned it.

CAR states, "This is the current thinking for the Lancer Evo X...although it may change...once again, Mitsu will go with...the tried-and-tested 2.0-litre turbo/4wd route...the engine will be a spin-off from the new 'world' engine that Mitsu is building with Hyundai and DaimlerChrysler..."

It's a prototype concept. Evo 9's out there too. It look a lot like the new Lancer with blister fenders.

That looks good. Reminds me of the Skyline concept, but better looking.

Looks almost like the predator...

Since you asked, it is printed--I apologize for the print (above) not being legible...

"But before Evo X, Mitsubishi has yet another tantalising throw of the dice. Get ready for the Evo IX, which will be unleashed in Japan in March. This car will gather up all the current Lancer MR goodies and factor a new MIVEC 2.0-litre variable cam engine into the equation to lift power well over 300bhp and give the Lancer an even stronger top-end response."

"Mitsubishi will rework the bumpers to help distinguish the Evo IX from the VIII and further improve aerodynamics."

:O Variable Valve Cam Engine!!!! lol.

It's about time they get one in their evo. STI already got one in theirs.

So evo 9's gonna be lighter, faster, more responsive and better looking?

I wonder how much they'll charge for that car... I may have to trade mine in for it.
