Emanage + Profec E-01 No Boost

Having a big problem with this engine management setup and looking for help anywhere. I recently did a turbo upgrade to the Garrett GT30R, Tial 38mm external wastegate and am running the following other mods:

APS intake
Emanage + Profec E-01
Greddy 720cc injectors
Walbro fuel pump
B & B turbo-back
HKS SSQV

That should be all the mods that really matter. Actually, the turbo kit was from RNR Racing (horrible fitment and many, many parts missing, but a nice look...especially the equal-length tubular header). I got everything installed and was running about 17lbs (to be safe) at 55% gain on the Profec. I took it up to DynoComp (here in Scottsdale AZ) to get it tuned, and they couldn't sync up to the emanage with their laptops. They managed to get the firmware upgraded though, and then all of the previous settings were erased. I drove it home (it drove like sh@@ btw) and it wasn't holding more than 4lbs of boost.

So, I sent the Emanage in to Greddy, who got it working and sent it back. I hooked it back up and went back to DynoComp and we got all synced up with the current firmware (1.39) and everything, but the car will still not hold any boost. No matter what they changed for settings in the Emanage or Profec, and no matter how they switched around the vacuum lines on my hardware (wastegate, solenoid, BOV and turbine), they COULD NOT get it to produce any decent amount of boost. It'll spool up, but only hit 16lbs at redline and it very, very gradually gets up there. This is how it acts no matter what changes you make to software or hardware now.

What does anyone think? I, nor anyone else, can figure this problem out so far. I believe it to be software related, because it was holding boost before. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Actually, meant that set was at 55%, not gain. Going to try resetting the Profec and emanage and running new vacuum lines over the weekend. I'll post what results I get, if anyone's even interested.

Found that the new downpipe had shifted and moved after turbo installation and burned a small hole in the intercooler piping. Everything's been fine and dandy since I fixed that issue. The car made over 400 whp on a DynoDynamics dyno (very low reading dyno) with C16 and 25lbs. I run it at 17lbs with 91 octane daily and she makes about 290 whp there. Hope you can find the problem...mine had nothing to do with the Profec/E-manage setup.

Well, i found my problem. I have to run 0 gain. Manual says the higher the faster the spool. I lowered it and it works fine. Wow, i run 28 psi with 100 and NO knock......

dude this is a ****ty setup.... while AMS was tuning my car recently my profec e01 completely failed(apparently little black lines shot across the screen until it wouldnt work at all) and the emanage is just not a good tool for tuning. It works great for fuel tuning, but horrible timing control(plus it fries the ignition coils). I upgraded to the AEM EMS which is a much better unit. Especially if you are running alot of mods like upgraded turbo.

I only have the E-01 for boost controll. I use the UTEC for managment. No emanage here. I am getting really bad MAF fluctuations and am thinking AEM. I think that would clear up all my issues.. Comments?? ray

I think thats your best option for an upgraded turbo as long as you have a knowlesgable tuner tuning it.
