More success with the UTEC!

After a long night of tuning and popping off IC pipes with my best freind dave (Spec C) I decided to go to the track today.

Here are my results with c16.

Im still on the stock turbo, stock clutch, stock IC, Stock Intake and Exhuast Manifolds.

First Run
ET- 11.956
Trap- 117.34
60'- 1.809
*launched at 5800 and spun a little in first.

2nd Run
ET- 11.805
Trap- 117.29
60'- 1.712
* launched at 5300. Hooked pretty good.

*Time to turn up the boost*
3rd Run
ET- 11.884
Trap- 117.55
60'- 1.827
*launched at 4800. Spun real bad in first. There is now rubber under my sideskirt and in my fender

If i hooked on the last run I think I woulda seen a 11.6-11.7.

DAVE- Thanx for the sick road tune buddy!

Great Times...

Can you post your mods or dyno runs?

How much whp would you gain by using C16 Race Gas?

I dynoed at 350whp with 97 Gas, it was a mix of a gallon of 91 and 5 gallons of 103

Do you think a 10whp gain is a posibilty jumping from 97 Gas to C16?

Again Nice Times on a stock turbo

TXS base race gas map
What is it and how do we get a look at one? Care to share your track logs/map so we can make comparisons?

Pretty impressive stock clutch 60 foots (1.71). I've been holding off going to the track altogether because I am still on the stock clutch...maybe I just need to go ahead and do it

Nice passes

That was a map he was given from txs, he went 11.9 @114 with that map at the september 11th shootout.. Since then we scrapped that map and made a new map, very similar timing as the first map, a hair more agressive, and a good deal leaner.. The base map was for a car with no injectors and pump so the car was running pig rich at 11:1, on c16 that is just silly.. The car ended up around 12.2-12.4 on c16, and he gained around 3.5mph on his trap speed, i believe he also went through the 1/8 at around 92mph, so he was moving,

I would say go ahead and go to the track on the stock clutch.. SubieEvolved has made around 30-40 drag passes(about 20 of those in the 11's), 3 dyno days, and countless road pulls, and the clutch wont give up the ghost..

Correct it was 23.5. I cranked it up to 25 but that just made my traction go to ****. Still ran a 11.8 with a ****ty sixty foot though with the higher boost.

So who do you have to know at TXS to get a race gas map from them? I've seen others talk about "TXS race gas maps", but I've never seen anything on their site about them...
