If its installed and I flip it around which position is the flash swith supposed to be on run? up or down? I am trying to get on TXS website. Having trouble.

 

If your installed and reaching around to hit it.. Flip it UP.. (It should already be DOWN in run mode..)

 

The reach around would have been nice =) but I had to take it down to do it. Guess what, I flipped it before I got your message. It was already in run mode and I switched it to flash without rechecking it. Jermaine thought I may have been in flash mode becasue I told him the fan kicked on when I started the car and would run non stop. I guess I needed to tell him that the car actually started then it would have been obvious I wasnt in flash mode. I took for granted I was in flash mode and switched it over. This morning the car wouldnt start and the fan kicked on. I said, shi-t and had to take it out yet again. Anyway, I'm still learning the quirks with the unit to understand it better. I think I have taken the UTEC in/out like 10 times already in 1 night. LOL It was wierd though when the fan kicked on in run mode. I said oh no, another issue to work around. I disconnected the ECU and reconnected it and the fan issue went away after a few experiments. Maybe there was a short somewhere they got kinked out from disconnecting everything. Man, I have spent so much $ on retunes becasue now it seems it needs to be done yet again. I am going to wait until TT puts the turbo kit on to do it for the final and hopefully final last time. =)
