16g oil return options

Hey guys, so recently as you guys may know my turbo was blowing blue smoke cause by the turbo getting an excess amount of oil. I was using a 3/8 hose but i swithed to a -4an oil feed line and it cut down the smoke alot. Im only getting it every now and then and mostly when the motor hasnt fully warmed up yet and i drive it. I checked the return line again (im using 5/8th heater hose) and it has a decent kink in it. Im thinking this could cause oil pressure to rise inside the turbo pushing it passed the seals and burn a small amount of oil..(mostly when its cold as the oil pressure is already high and the heater hose isnt as plyable like it is when its warm) What are others using here instead of heater hose? is there anything else i can use with a not so harsh bend that is causing my kink?

1/2npt to 10an
http://www.jayracing.com/index.php?m...oducts_id=3588

10an drain flange
http://www.cimotorsports.net/motor-s...in-flange.html

10an connectors
http://www.amazon.com/Earls-Auto-Fit.../dp/B0002M8ZSU

10an steel braided hose
http://www.cpperformance.com/p-96-st...0-an-hose.aspx

This would be what I would use if I could go back and do it all again. Right now I'm just using hose clamps, but this would be so much cooler.

Whoa awesome man thanks!! For now i think im going to put a hose clamp around the kink to "relief it" and bring it back to a circle as much as i can

Yeah, I think that 45 degree angle is what helps relieve some of the pressure, so if you can't do all that with the screw on connectors, there is still a "Earls" 1/2npt to 5/8" hose barb with a 45 degree angle. That's what I got...20 bucks though is a little steep imo

How about put a bigger piece of hose around the smaller piece, something rigid that will hold it from kinking.

Thats another thought i had in mind, ether that or tape the **** out if it with electrical tape or something to keep it rigid from kinking! so far the hose clamp seems to be working

electrical tape doesn't hold up to heat well, or oil. maybe tightly wrapped header wrap to strengthen it and keep it from heating up so much?

Thats another good idea! Idk, i still think this turbo is junk now, the licp coupler from the j-pipe connecting to the intercooler is soaked in oil, the seals on this turbo are done i think

Mine has a noise now to...i found that on the compressor hot side the "heat sheild" was loose and rattles..Ugh this turbo is destroyed.. im missing half a quart, the intercooler is like full of oil and the oil even made it through all the pipes up into the throttle body...thats prob why im getting such ****ty gas milage.. my dad also said that if it becomes excessive it will create carbon buildup on the the valves and pistons..damn...this thursday ill be looking for a turbo guys, LMK if anyone has a 16g Also, when i get the turbo in, it will be ok to use a -4AN feed line right? no one has had any issues with a -4AN? Im just trying to avoid doing the same thing again, and whats the max milage you think a 16g turbo is good for?
