Wried Problem
Back Ground:
I had my SAFC II installed and running for about 1-2 month now! I been to the track, been on canyon runs, ran it hard and soft everywhere i went! My car runs fun, but latly at night it has been running a little rich so i lead it out and it was fine.
Today i was helping a friend install his SAFCII using my wiring to match his. We installed a Walbro Fuel pump before that. We did a test drive and started to get fuel cut at 4500 RPM. We coudln't figuare out why. So he took off teh SAFC II, since he was going to have some real pros tune it the next day.
Here is the problem:
He just bought a Data Logger so we were going to try it on my car. WIREDEST FUC*ING THING I STARTED TO GET FUEL CUT AT 4500 RPM now too....
after that i frist re did my whole wiring sottering again and it was good. But still have the problem.......
My Question:
HOW THE FUC* CAN I HAVE A ****ED UP CAR, WHEN I WAS AT STREETS OF WILLOW RUNNING FINE, CANYON RUNS, AND DRIVING W/ NO PROBLEMS FOR THE PAST FEW MONTH, AND ALL OF NO WHERE ITS ALL FUC*ED UP?????
MODS:
Walbro 255 LPH Fuel Pump
Greddy Profec B Spec 2 1.4-1.5bars
SAFC2
Greddy Ti
Helix Ti Cat
Helix DP
HKS Piping w/ Apexi Filter
Ralliart Spark Plug Wires
Spark Plug 1 Cooler
Koyo Radiator w/ Samco hoses
Ralliart Thermostat
Perrin Crank Pully
Greddy Type-S BOV
thats all the Performance mods that i have...

It might have to do with the colder air temps. I had similar problems with mine when the weather got colder. I turned down the boost to combat it temporarily and then got a TT Flash to remove it completely.

Take the SAFC2 and set the trims to zero and verify all your other settings. Reset the eCU by unhooking the battery. Wait about 15 minutes, and hook the battery back up. Take the car out with the lower boost, and drive around easy, and don't stick it. Shut the car down, and wait and bit longer. Then, start the car, and make a few light pulls followed by one long hard pull, still with the SAFC2 set to zero. If the pull is successful, then reset the SAFC2. I still think the colder air is freaking out one of the stock O2 meters, which is causing your cut. Those things are junk, and if you get them too hot, they fry pretty easy. My friends talon, similiar problem, that ended up being the issue. I would hook up the logger and check your voltage if the other test doesn't work.

Man, I don't know what to tell you. Seems to be if the conditions are the same, results, in theory should remain the same too. Do you know someone with a field harness you could borrow? Or, is it possible, you could have an issue between the SAFC and the Profec?
His settings were wrong. Simple fix.
