Question Modified injector size

If I change the modified injector up and leave the stock at 550, thats supposd to lean the injectors out right, so the higher i make the value the leaner it gets right. I just want to be able to adjust the fuel curves globally since that may be a little easier dealing with weather changes etc.

yeah, I was thinking about what you said but also since I put the new UTEC in, its running real rich on my other map. I really just need to figure which way to go with the modified injector. up or down? to get it leaned out. I was figuring up but it was still rich and when I went down my egts went up. I dont have a wideband so I really dont know what it doing.

I'm actually doing that.. but remember, modified injector size work with the open loop fueling, and stock injector size scales the MAF settings (for closed loop and idle)

I wanted to richen up my fuel table so I set my modified setting from 550 to 530

Jack, does it affect injector duty cycle reading?

interesting.......let me tell you what I did by mistake. I had mistakenly flip flopped my injector values with my current fuel map and was so rich (i think) it was causing all sorts of havoc when I tried to go wot. Threw 3 codes.

Yes.. Increased injector duty by about 5% or so.. Just enough to give me the overhead..
