i found this "missfiring controller" on http://integral-ltd.co.jp/trecs2_evo.html & i think it has something to do with their TRECS2 ECU that they sell. any thoughts???

It appears to be an anti-lag system... Horrible Google translation... Which would shoot fire... which is why they're illegal.

 

If this anti-lag, it'd put you in boost permanently. Too bad it shoots fire, sounds obnoxious, and ruins any chance of having any exhaust except a straight pipe.

that was a nice little compilation if i may say so myself.

 

It looks tight to shoot out fire from your exhaust but its really not worth it unless your doing it for looks and solely based on looks

 

I think that video is actually showing a flamethrower. Not a misfiring system. Have you guys played GT4 or watched some overseas pro racing? Misfiring is like massive back pressure going through the exhaust pipe and out the exhaust. Maximum freeflow. I was racing my friend's RX7 and I downshifted in my CRV. My other friend who was in the passenger seat of the RX7 sed that I had a puff of black smoke pop out of my exhaust and a couple crackle noises.

Yeah it's cool to look at. Fine. lol but their are some practical points to it. I think for turbo cars it does reduce lag. Lol Initial D ahahahahahaha. k i'll shut up.

 

right. this system keeps the turbo running even though you don't press gas.
If you guys Know a japanese comic called "Initial D" ...there is a guy driving a black Evo 3 GSR..he had this kind of system installed.
