Was wanting to know how people with the 272 in and 264 ex like the set up.I've read all kinds if cam threads about 264in-264ex,264in-272ex,272in-272ex.The thing is is that I'm looking for the best set-up using stock turbo or maybe White Rabbit for a good autocross set-up.I've been told that the 264-264 set-up is good for tq but the topend is weak and the 272-272 set-up is good for topend but not a lot of tq.i dont know about the 264in-272ex.I was just told yesterday by logicperformance that the hot set-up is the 272in and 264ex.My supporting mods will be 3'tbe with random tech hfc.Ported exhaust manifold.New 02 housing.Works drop in filter and jdm bov.and a tune once everything is installed.I'm not looking to be the fastest evo.I just want more power with a good powerband throughout the rev range.

Any help would be appreciated.

I don't believe in mixing and matching different cams. If you have adjustable cam-gears, you should be able to achieve close to the same results by adjusting them accordingly. If you haven't seen it, check out TedB's cam timing thread.

I had the 272-272 combo and like it alot. but with the new turbo I will be adding the 280 cams.
