Initial SAFC2 Settings

Hi, I need to know how to setup the hi and low throttle on my evo for now until I get it tuned. I'm not sure if im suppose to put it to 0% across the board. I have stock injectors if that helps.

There are quite a few posts on this topic in this forum alone. However, to do this correctly you will need some type of wide band O2 sensor and some type of data logging device to tune your car correctly. Warrtalon has plenty of info on that

If you are talking about the percentage of where low and high throttle take place mine are 30% and 60%

Question

Got a question for you Kronik, I have the same exhaust as you but do you have the Megan Cat as well and was it difficult to tune the S-AFC with it installed?
It's just one of those things I can't seem to find an answer to.

Current Mods:
Megan Racing 3" TBE
Greddy Upper Intercooler Pipe
HKS SSQV w/ Recirc
AEM Short Ram Intake
Pro-1 Turbo Exhaust Manifold
Greddy Pofec B EBC
HKS Turbo Timer

Don't jack the thread, man. Take this to PM...that's what it's for. Your exhaust components have nothing to do with S-AFC tuning. I'm not sure why you would think there would be any difference with or without a Megan cat. You could have Uncle Joe's HF cat or Leisure Suit Larry's test pipe for all the S-AFC cares...

Any time that you use a different person's settings, you are taking a risk with your vehicle due to the fact that there are differences in everyones cars. With having said that, there are some relatively mild settings on AMS' website forum. I figured that I'd try them myself when I was using my SAFC before my custom tune.

No, because then it wouldn't do anything. Put your Lo at 35% and Hi at 65%.

This is the key. Leave it 0 across the board and it is in do nothing status which fine to drive around with until you go to the dyno or whatever. It wouldn't matter where he puts the throttle points if all the fuel trims are at 0.

Sorry, I accidentally posted in your thread instead of the one I thought I was in. I use the same High-Low settings that Warrtalon suggested.

You can take up some fuel up top and not really have to worry about it.. the car runs pig rich. If your read, most people who have tuned their own are at -12 up top.. I added a little fuel in around the peark torque area of 4300rpms and then tappered to -5 at 7000rpm and the car was running a 10.2 when i got it on the dyno.. still pig rich. after tuning it was near -23..never put someone elses setting in YOUR safcII.. if i gave you mine your car would most likely be done for.
