Which Engine Management 2 go with?

Ok i was thinking about doing the Dynoflash, but im having second thoughts. I dont have 1500$ to spend on standalones like AEM, Apexi, etc. The Dynoflash is only 400$. Would you advise going with the dynoflash or maybe just getting something like a Apexi AFC and a electronic boost controlller type setup? I dunno any opinions will be appreciated!! Thanks!!

If you're done with your set up then do Dynoflash. If you're planning to make a few more changes down the road like cams, bigger turbo, race fuel, higher boost, bigger injectors, etc.
then I would think again.
The other thougt, can you tune it yourself? If not it'll cost you either way.

i dont really want to tune it myself thats why i was heading more towards Dynoflash but Dynoflash offers free tuning for life. So if i dedide to do cams, bigger turbo, intercooler etc, they will retune my car. what would u go with?

A flash would be a good bet.
I would stay away from the piggybacks.

Just for the record, Al will not give free tuning for life. He will do a custom flash for the 400 you listed. If you want a custom flash again, you'll pay another 350. What your thinking of is the mail in flash that he will do for people that get the custom tunes...

have a flash but am switching to xede...the dynoflash is great if you are done with your car or are going to just do basic mods, but if you plan on doing any additional mods down the road or drag racing, dynoflash I don't think is the best option. al has a great product, and I loved the inital power, but I am now looking to add cams/gear and methanol down the road. true al can tune again, but it is a conservative mail-in flash as not all of us live on the eastern seaboard or in locations that he visits yearly.. ask him what he uses on his evo(aem)..and at $350 every time you add/subtract/modify your car, you pay for an xede/aem/autronic unit after 3-4 tunes

From what i hear.. UTEC does a really good job. You can control boost (with gm selenoid), adjust ign timing, and afr. Do all this and keep your stock-like drivability. It has some very nice logging features and I don't think its too hard to learn. Do some more research and give it a try.

he said he doesnt want to spend the cash for a standalone.

go with the dynoflash or ecutek (more cash for ecutek but more tunable by dealer)

For in between a 1500 dollare AEM and a 400 Dynoflash you can spend about 800 bux on a Greddy Emange Ultimate which is a VERY Capable system or the Apexi Power FC. JMO
