You know, if there weren't so many posts whining about how long it's taking there would only be a few posts and it would be easier for us to monitor.

post 423 and still counting, i guess the sti guys got there speed density or its coming out correct if im wrong.

 

Looking at their firmware page they have speed density now, launch control seperate from NLTS and a bunch of other stuff.

 

That assumes that they actually have a Software development department with a manager that can be held accountable for delivery data slips, poor quality code, etc etc.

I don't fault Jermaine for not giving a date since the person/s delivering the code do not work for him.

For TurboXS,

I think most evo owners are smart enough to understand the concept of market share. If the evo only makes up a small percentage of your sales and as a result you are putting more time into updates / bug fixes / new features for the larger portions of your market then that is understandable.

But for god sakes man (TXS not Jermaine), just fess up and give a freakin development road map with some target dates. Or are you waiting on the next hot car to come out so the evo can be put further back on the burner!

 

well, just as a case in point...

a buddy just got a 350, and said he'd been lookin at this utec thing, and i said, "oh yeah? thats what i have"

well everyone else got updated with new software on august 4th, I am hoping we are not too much further behind...

 

hope and a quater will get you a drink from our soda machine at work.....


Anyway, this is really sad.

The guys at TXS have helped me out many times when i have called in with tech questions etc etc, in fact just today I called and talked with Nathan about tuna pro knock detection and he sent me a wav file of what knock actually sounds like.....

It just blows that the evo accounts for so little of their sales that we are at the bottom of the list for software updates.

Ohh well, already sold my utec anyway..........

 

Word, I just got a custom tune on my ecu from AMS, utec is on map 0 and is comming out this weekend to go up for sale...
