Hey Jermaine, all I ask is that you come out to So Cal, your largest UTEC market, and spend a week or so tuning Evos. Nobody here knows how to tune the UTEC for the Evo. You may argue that, and mention places like Harman Motive, but I've searched everywhere here for months , tried different tuners, and the fact is there are NO great UTEC Evo tuners here like there are for AEM, Power FC, or even Xede. They either can't make big power with it, can't handle the OLF transition issues, or simply refuse to touch it.

If you can get a group of guys together I think we can arrange some tuning sessions to be done at GT Motorsports.

Feel free to email me we can work it out from there.

Thanks,

Interesting, I am from the North East so I have tons of possible dyno locations we can host it.

Email me.

Release date, honestly man I have given up on dates. I prefer to say it's released when I have it in my hands.

Thanks,

Plenty of locations but no one good with the UTEC.

Faith in me, your faith should be with the Software Engineers. I can barely post on the BB, can you imagine if I were writing code.

It would be bad!

ok, so lets do apples to apples.

After a long absence, you come back, talk about a snazzy new setup, and it'll be great.

What do we really have. Lots of time behind us. No idea of a release date. No real hard info.

Why not come back when it was done and completed then?

Good to hear from you Jermaine. I love my Utec and I am not bailing but if this is still 6 months down the road you will have lost a lot more customers. Crack the whip on those engineers!

Got to sort of agree on that, after 400 posts you return to let us know nothing new... It doesn't take a lot to ask the "engineer(s)" an estimated time of delivery. Being that I went to school and took programming and can tell how long a job should take roughly..

They said they are working on "350z stuff" or some BS like that.

Who did you talk to when you called? They obviously told you a partial bit of the truth. If you are getting rid of the UTEC by all means, but I promise everyone that who did wait, will be rewarded greatly by the new software features.

350Z Stuff, is actually been under developement for a while but all of the new hot features will be applied to the other UTEC platforms.

You wont be dissapointed if you wait.

Jermaine@turboxs.com

P.S. I am often busy working in the shop, it is alot easier to call and talk to me regarding any problems you have versus posting on the forums.

nov 15. 2005. You can backup and go farther back, but i think we all get the idea.

Please get back to us when you have something to give (and i mean that with complete respect ). But leading this on and off with nothing to show, thats why utecs are for sale everywhere.
