boosting around 24psi????

ok i have a question. im thinking about doing the dynoflash and a manual boost controller to get a little more power. but now im also thinking about just doing a boost controller and upping the boost to like 24psi, but i gotta know a couple of things first. i met a couple of evo guys who are boosting 24psi with no standalones, or flashes. first off can u boost 24psi safetly on a evo without a flash or standalone or should u have some kind of management? and if i get a dynoflash whats the most psi i should boost with it? can u boost around 24psi and than have a dynoflash or will i need a more serious management? cause if i dont need a flash or stand alone its alot cheaper but im not looking to cheap out. thanks.

you could but i would advise you to upgrade th fuel pump to a 255 and go for an adgustobal fuel regulator
gust to be on the safe side
so your AFR would be safe

Raising the boost that high will just cause the engine to knock, which will cause the engine to retard timing, which will cause you to have less power than if you kept the boost lower.

Whats the highest recommend setting to use on a 05? I just installed the hallman MBC and 1-4 gears it holds 20 PSI throughout the entire RPM band, but 5th holds like 22 PSI, is this OK do you think???

Highest boost on stock turbo on 93 octane you can run without knock (or little knock) is 22psi. 23-24 youll start knocking and your power would be more on less boost as someone said above.

How much HP can you expect with a MBC, 21 psi and stock everything else? Anyone have proven dyno runs to show gain? Is 1 psi = 10 hp??
