Anyone have any pics of a custom install for the map selector switch?

i put mine under the dimmer switch thing, facing down, so that it can't get bumped easily, and no one will fiddle with it.

 

At least yours is mounted somewhere, I always intended to put it in the center console near the intercooler sprayer switch, since I'm replacing the sprayer switch with a arm switch for the alky kit. However at the moment I have it wedged between my seat and center console out of the way.

 

On my RS there is a blank on the dash next to the interior lights dimmer switch (I think it's where the headlight up/down adjustment is on a GSR or MR), so I put the map switch there and it blends right in.

 

anybody got a pic of theirs?

I originally put mine in the dash light adjuster location, but it was hard to see the map number so I moved it to the center console next to the IC sprayer switch. It is much easier to see and reach, however, sometimes I will hit the switch when using the cup holder. I'm looking for a new location now.

 

Since my intercooler sprayer was gone I tore the swith out. Then got a dremel and made the hole a little bigger and got the switch in there. Looks stock there, the only problem I have is changing maps by mistake. I am going to place a little plastic cover over it and wire LED so I read the numbers at night.

 

anybody have a pic of what the switch looks like? I haven't received my UTEC yet, and i'd like to figure out a place suitable to put the switch.

 

Its not that big. If you have a intercooler sprayer it will be almost the same size as the toggle switch used to activate it.
