Al said my Utec was junk and it can't eliminate it and he is the only tuner who can flash the ecu to eliminate fuel cut. Cost me 100 bucks for somethign that did not need to be done.

as mentioned in dozens of other posts and having flet it for myself many times fuel cut feels like you just hit a brick wall.

your going WOT and all of a sudden everything stops for a split second until you lift from the throttle, that is fuel cut. trust me you will know it when you hit it.

I agree that is not fuel cut.....jerky acceleration could be a number of things...boost leak, detonation, bad plugs, running too rich.....ect....definately not fuel cut.

When you hit fuel/maf cut the first time it will scare you because the car just dies!

Fuel cut is like hitting a brick wall. You would be romping on it, and then it feels like your car was tied to a tree, it would like snap back at you and shut down for a second.

Well my car is stock except for K&N drop in, and APS BOV, Hallman MBC, and DEFI boost gauge. It only has like 2000 miles on it. I doesn't do it a lot, but it does do it some times when the engine is still cold. I don't want to get a tune until I get a few more mods...

that's normal, that's also abuse... don't boost a cold motor until it comes up to temp or you'll do damage.

I have only hit fuel cut when I roll into boost from low rpm -- say i'm in 4th gear around 3k and I stand on it.. I used to hit fuel cut ....i have since fixed that problem by limiting the MAS frequency the ECU sees....

If I i'm WOT from 2nd gear and ripping through the gears I never hit fuel cut.
