safc2 and 680's on a 50trim

guys, im going to install a 50 trim this winter and want to know a few things about the safc2 and 680 injectors. please bear with my stupidity for a second.
first, do i need to set up the idle with afc or will the ecu be able to compinsate for the 680s at idle? ( 1000 rpm to 4k )
second, do i need to pull a set % for my low throdle setting to compinsate for the cruizing speeds. afr target is 14.2-14.7 at cruizin.
last, what about the decel setting to keep the car from stalling or rought ilde at decel. i havent messed with this yet. and will i need to with the 680's?
the wot tuning i feel comfortable with, just a few of the above ?'s im not to sure about. anyone with a upgraded turbo and injectors that are using a safc for tuning id love a little imput to get me started. Im not brand new to the afc just need a little advise in set up for big turbo and inj. thanx b

i wouldn't use just an AFC with an upgraded turbo.....at least flash the car where you can alter the ignition timing.......

Mt recommendation is getting a custom flash once you have everything setup, this way you wont have to worry about anything. You seem to have a lot to learn about tuning and this would definitely be the best way to go.

Ive allready been flashed twice for my current mods. and yes i do still have some to learn about tuning, hence my request for help with afc . also ive done plenty of tuning on the stock system with my afc. as said b4, i need a little direction in the set up. fyi, i like to have the capibility to tune my own car and not be stuck with someone elses assuptions of all my driving conditons. thats why im piggy backing my flash with the afc. works great for me

I wasn't trying to sound bad, you already have a wideband so all you need is something that will detect knock and some time. You can find many posts on how to properly set up the AFC, I would recommend starting out at 0's and working your way until you get to your desired AFR (you probably want to shoot for 11.0-11.5-1) Good Luck and let us know how it goes. Did you get the Turbo Trix 50 Trim?

it means for the fuel setting in Hi and Lo throttle, zero them out and start from there.

thats kul, no harm no foul. Ive got some 680's and im waiting to see if someone sells there 50trim for cheap. if not im going with rnr's. Im haveing my tc built by tre now so that took some of my cash flow. I assumed the 0 out meant start at 0's but wasnt sure. I also need a pocket logger as you said so i check for knock. damn this game is exspensive. so much to do so little cash . i used to have a talon with a 60-1 and 720's a long time ago and it ran like crap. so im taking my time and reading and taking in all i can. ill just have to play with it and keep learning through trial and error. thanx for the info. if you are not flashed for those injectors you will be running 18% rich across the board. If I am understanding you correctly ...your current flash is for the stock injectors.

That link I gave you was good info. You need to monitor your STFT and LTFT and get your tune set for normal driving on those injectors. Just read through "step 2" a few times. You will not be zeroed out anywhere. You will be starting at a baseline of -18% and working from there.

Everbody just loves to tell you "get a flash" and not ever address your original question. This board is full of that. I guess it makes them feel smart that they have a correct answer or something. Of course, "get a custom flash because you are too dumb" is the correct answer for just about everything.

ya, i find that i have to really pick and choose the info i retain from here. I currently am flashed for the stock injectors. i got the flash first so i could get a nice base tune and the 8.5k rev limit. Thanks for clearing up the zero thing. after reading the thing a couple more times i figures i was a starting at - number with the big injectors. well im off the find a good deal on a data logger. thanx b
