CAT Replacing test pipe =CEL?
CAT Replacing test pipe =CEL?
Hey fellas i im contemplating the idea on replacing the catalyst with a test pipe, but since there is an 02 sensor after the catalist will this cause a CEL?
Yes it will cause a P0420 code. You will want a CEL fix. You can do the fouler trick or buy one from us.

I bought one from you back in July of last year and drove the car for a few months and then bang! The CEL came on again with the P0402 code. I'm wondering what's going on with this.

Mechanical o2 sims work majority of the time, but like their electronic counterparts they don't offer a 100% guarantee.
If it doesn't work I would suggest trying to drill a smaller hole in the fouler or soldering some extra material at the tip of the undrilled piece to greater limit the amount of exhaust gas the sensor sees.
