Petition Boomslang to make SAFC-2 Plug and Play Harness and/or patch harness for IX

I have contacted Boomslang asking them when/if they will make a SAFC-2 Plug and Play Harness and/or just a patch harness for the Evo IX. They said they are currently researching it, but it will "be some time" before a product comes out. I wanted to show Boomslang that their is indeed demand for their product. Once I see enough interest on this thread, i will forward this thread to Boomslang so hopefully they can accelerate their efforts to produce a product.

Since the SAFC will be much less useful for the IX, I think you should take the approach of petioning for just a harness. The harness itself has nothing to do with the SAFC anyway. all Boomslang does is presplice the SAFC to their own patch harness, then sell it. They just do the splicing for the customer, but the harness itself is not SAFC-specific. I think there is a HUGE need for a patch harness for the IX, but I think taking the SAFC route to show demand will be fruitless, since it will be very rarely used on the IX - certainly only a fraction of the need for the patch harness itself.

Once you create a thread, you can't change the title, so you should ask a mod to change it for you. I know you can see the title change from the thread view, but from the forum view, it still displays the original title.

Report your own post and ask for assistance. I wouldn't assume that any of them are in here reading the SAFC forum.

Spoke to them yesterday. They are working on it, but are at least 6 weeks away. They actually have many different harnesses including SAFC + Emanage that they custom make. Units are high quality and longer than most competitors. We are direct with Boomslang FYI when the 9's are released and you are ready.

The IX has a 3 connector harness vs the VIII's 4 plug harness. SAFCII Evo9 specific harnesses may or not make it to production, regardless, we will make them from the standard harnesses if they do not.
