Immobilizer stand alone question.

To everyone who has a stand alone in their car (AEM, Power FC, F-Con, ect) do these units disable the immobilizer, aka "chip in the key"? I guess you could answer this if the green key light des not light up or flash on shut down witch I think it deos in factory form.

without the stock ecu there is no immobilizer function

my aem ems disable the immobilizer in my car..

yes the immoblizier is built into the stock ecu
