datalogging and wideband....
searched but couldn't find anything that answered all of my questions. Basically I'm looking for something that will datalog and give me wideband readings all in one shot to aid in tuning. This won't be limited to just the Evo so I want a general OBDII system especially one that can read knock and timing.
Reading through some of the threads a lot of people recommended the PLX M500 but as far as I can tell from googling it, it's just a wideband.
Other people recommended a pocketlogger and a Wideband, this seems like a viable route, but again I would like something that packages it all together. Also from what I've read (correct me if I'm wrong) pocketlogger does not log knock.
Also from what I've read the AEM UEGO supposedly logs 6 different things, yet I haven't been able to find exactly what those 6 things are.
Sorry if this has all been covered before but searching pulls up a bunch of useless threads and makes it hard find which ones are most informative.
Thank you in advance.

I dont think your going to find one meter that does all you want on its own. With the PLX 500 you will need to buy the EGTsensor and knock sensor in order to get thoses readings. The AEM 6 in 1 gauge only gives your reading in AFR and Lambda. The 6 in 1 part is that it comes with 3 face plates and 2 bezels's. If your looking for a a AFR gauge that can be swaped from one car to the other maybe try innonvate LM-1 or the Motec.
Get Zeitronix.....http://www.zeitronix.com/
For about 280$ you will get a WB and datalogging of...
Lamba
AFR
RPM
TPS
Add a MAP sensor from them to log boost, (its the same one that AEM uses), 110$ cheapest around
Add a knock buffer from Vishnu (110$ shipped), hook it up to the user input and be able to log REAL KNOCK.
Add a EGT sensor from Zetronix for 77$
Total 577$ to be able to log....
Lamba
AFR
RPM
TPS
Boost
Knock
EGT
The PLX 500 by itself cost 550 and you still need to buy a MAP sensor to log boost and a EGT sensor, which will be a lot more.

May I suggest the ECU+ which has a datalogger with a wideband option and it allows you to tune as well.

That looks like a nice and complete option.
Thank you!
