Vacuum/Boost vs Boost Gauge

Are there any pros/cons to either? Is knowing where my car is in vacuum important? I am talking about gauges likes these...

Stewart Warner makes good gauges.

I would get one with vac and boost.

Id definitely get a gauge with vacuum as well. Lets you know when your resting your foot on the gas too much at cruise killing gas mileage.

I have always avoided the combo guages, since they always drift from zero over time. I haven't had personal experience with all brands, but autometer and a few others have done it. Boost onoly guages have lasted me 5 years with no signs of becoming inaccurate, even being an autometer

well i have the defi boost gauge it looks like the first gauge you posted here.... its cus you got that vacume when your engine is idling, but when the turbo kicks in it obvously creates boot and registeres on the psi scale, i would recommend one of these, can be helpful when trying to figure out if you have a puncture or a leak ....

also i would recommend DEFI, i have NEVER had any problems or complaints, ALSO the backlight is the same color as the stock interior gauges.....:P have fun, lataaaaa
