Can you NOT read...I stated in my post that I DON'T NEED map adjustability!! Grow the fock up...I understand you are trying to prove your point, that ECUtek isn't your flash of choice, but being an a$$ about because you felt you got dissed by ECUtek isn't the most professional way to position it.

i dont understand the problems with some of the vendors these days. if they dont use the part or piece they sit here and keep bashing and bashing, i think they should be getting warnings for making threads go off-topic.TTP, you guys dont use ecutek thats why you bash it, we dont need to hear that so if you dont have useful info for us keep your opinions to yourself.

We were one of the first Ecutek Dealers behind Dynoflash to use Ecutek technology, long before Colby decided to implode the Evo ECU reflashing market.

Ecutek is a ripoff at this point in time and their residual income model leaves much to be desired by both tuner and consumer.

I just wanted to chim back in on this ecutek talk as its been awhile. I recently ran into a guy here in my home town AZ, he just moved here from MichigN. We where shooting the **** one night, and i tell him i have ecutek and its locked and that i wished i had went with ecuflash. he then tells me he can retune my ecutek, and there is no such thing as a lock. He whiped out his lap top and bam there was my map. We didnt do any tuning but it sure felt nice knowing i dont need to depend on a tuner to continue to tune for me.

I just wanted to share this with everyone...

Id also like to get some feed back from someone who knows more about this.

If there is trully a lock why is it I can still see my map, aswell as retune(havent done it yet)?

I guess the program he uses is one that can be had for free

Again, I was told by a very VERY reputable source that ECUtek offers what called EasyECU...which allows for switchable maps with a laptop...

But because I personally don't have this, its hearsay blah blah friggin blah...

Call it hearsay if you want, but switchable maps do exist for ECUtek, whether tuners who use other software want to accept it or not, is really the question being asked here, not if this product exists...
