Anybody try the MSD DashHawk? Looks like an interesting device to help tune our cars. The EVO is not on their supported vehicle list, so I don't know if it will work with our cars or not. Was CAN bus available on the EVO8?

Do evos have these pins.

Locate the OBDII connector. It is under the dash on the driver’s side of the vehicle, often either under the steering wheel or tucked up next to the driver’s side kick panel.
Look carefully at the plug with a flash light or other bright light source. If pins 6 and 14 have metal pins in them (i.e. are “populated”) then the vehicle has a CAN bus and DashHawk will most likely work with this vehicle.

 

On my 2003, pin 6 is not populated, but pin 14 is populated. Not sure if this is for all EVO8/9 or just 2003. The DashHawk has the features I've been looking for:

display of OBD parameters
warning lights for OBD parameters
small form factor
check/reset OBD codes
external sensor input (ie, wideband!)

Anybody else find a similar device that works with an EVO8? The Greddy Infometer and Apex iMoni can't check/reset OBD codes or support external sensors.
