Thumbs up MaftPro=GOD piggyback!!

So if youve read any of my other threads i was having some small issues but got everything worked out finally and tuned in idle low and mid trims and thismorning i started tuning at 6am out in the country roads lol. All i can say is HOLY ****! Its so much easier to tune on a map sensor and i swear removing the MAF gave me better spool up and more topend. I had my car tuned at 21psi on the maf sensor and i thought that was fast but no, this thing is pulling out timing and boost numbers somhow in humid and 90 right now that i wouldnt think of getting. Tuned thismorning for 22psi on 93 octane, at 7000-7500rpm i was hitting 19* advanced and not ONE count of knock all the way through the rev range, AWESOME! Previously on the MAF ive only been able to hit 17* on 21psi without getting some knock. Just to test that it wasent a fluke i made 4 more pulls in differnt locations that had differnt temps ect sense its a long drive home and results repeated every time . I just love this thing it makes tuning so much easier!! im tuning with ecuflash for WOT but MAFTpro for everything else and its working GREAT!

I have a couple questions:

Where did you get your Maftpro?

How hard/easy was it to install?

How much do they cost?

Thanks,

Fullthrottlespeed.com The install itself was pretty basic as long as youve done a safc or somthing like that before youll be good just match the correct wires up with color and pinout ect. I didnt use the boost controll feature so i dont know about that but i used my wideband to track a/f's and all the other features and its GREAT! The absolute hardest part was getting the car running smoothly, it somtimes got overwhelming when **** you do just doesnt work or your low throttle is jerky as hell and you cant figure out why lol. Sure you can get it to run for the most part right away but getting it idling right and getting everything set up so that you can smoothly drive through the city at low RPM was my challenge. The maftpro unit itself was $399 but if you want to run speed density youll need to buy a MAP sensor and temp sensor along with the speed density harness if you dont want to splice wires like i did. Your prolly looking at mid $500 range to get it all setup plus boost controll ect just check the site out and price things out. Just remember you pretty much need a wideband to tune this in, idk how i would do it without it. I would also highly reccomend using it in conjunction with ecuflash and the tactrix cable, the combo is lethal.

I recommend purchasing through TTP-Engineering. Along with the sale you receive Evo-specific support from Scott which helps immensely while trying to set it up. Also, you're supporting one of the EvoM vendors.

+1 scott knows his stuff with this unit like none other couldnt have gotten it tuned in without paul either (pvd04) he was a huge help getting me setup and going off his know how to start me off in the right direction. Ive said it once and ill say it again tuning in the low throttle city driving is the hardest thing to do with this. Took me 4 basically full days off and on tuning to get it dialed in and its still not perfect but its really close to stock and feels great with response now. After everything is done though youll love it like me thats for sure.

Ive been debating on going back to the Maftpro. The boost control feature I think is the best out there, it rivals $600 EBCs out there.
