ethompson---

I would also assume you are not using a boost controller right?

If you were there is no need to swap anything either....but then I would think by turning up the wick on the boost controller things would feel different.

If no on the B/C then I would say definitely the maps won't work right if that 2nd pill is still in the line.

As I said before, my car didn't even come to life until the main pill was taken out and re-sized....only then did my car hit the targets and produce the power

Good luck tomorrow getting everything done...i'm sure things will change allot!

I put on Stage 1 ACN map, and I lost .3 bar of pressure. I pulled the pill after talking to Cobb, but it only raised the boost .1 bar. I am still at a net loss of .2 bar from stock. I could not find a boost leak. Shop could not find boost leak. I have the new line Cobb sent me, but have not had time to install it. From my understanding, the new line is the same as the stocker but without the pill, so I am not expecting it to help. Before I took the pill out, I tried flashing back to stock and it seemed to work fine. I also tried putting in 2/3 tank of 100 octane and running the 93 octane map, but it acted just like the 91 octane map. I am kind of lost on what to try next, but I must say that Cobb customer service has been great. Any ideas?

Also, is the ProTuner software out yet?

I am fairly sure that the COBB line is not just the secondary pill out...but also a different sized hole in the main pill depending on your state and elevation...I BELIEVE that is right.

once again...on my car taking out the 2nd pill did nothing....we had to re-drill the main pill a different size hole(we used a new pill and just drilled it out a different size)....we tried like 2 or 3 different main pill sized holes to get the boost to hit exactly how the map was set for.

I would think their own line would be the same and should change things for you

I wish I had checked this thread... I have waited two and a half weeks for my AP and now I have to wait for this god damn line while my car is slower with the freakin tune..... They really should let you know about this when you order.

You can just take out the restrictor pill on your stock line if you like. It's easy to get to, but not the easiest to remove (the pill). Replacing the stock vacuum lines with the Cobb lines is a real PITA if you ask me.

Edit: If your car is slower, just flash it back to stock for now.

I found it easier to remove the vacumm line from underneath the car instead of Cobbs directions to remove the fan and what not.

I'll bet you're right. No messing up the radiator fins that way either.
