Slipping Clutch?

I have taken logs everyday for the past month and I just noticed yeterday that in the 5000-5500 rpm range on the logs that when it gets to 5200 it goes up to 5400 and back down to 5100 back up to 5500. Is this signs of a slipping clutch? I do not feel it as a driver or even notice it. I tried testing it on the highway in 6th gear and it seemed to drive exactly the same as it did when the car was new. There are only 12060 miles on the stock clutch.

well maybe it's not bad enough to notice. My clutch is going out and I'm already setting up a date to replace it. First signs of slippage were initially in 5th gear since thats when you have the most load on the clutch. Now it'll slip in 3rd if I mash the gas and boost it.

Exactly the way mine began to act when it started to go out. Same mileage too. Under normal driving and smooth acceleration, it was ok but when i gave it gas to pass.... Any way, time to replace.

It'll slip in the high gears more than low.

I did the slip test on the highway in 6th gear and it wasn't slipping which I would think that it would. I think I am kind of screwed unless it is covered under warrenty because my father is against buying aftermarket things for the car, let alone the clutch causing the drivetrain warrenty to be voided.

You take logs everyday but don't want to buy anything aftermarket for your car?
