Need advice on WB02 and placement
I getting everything together to prepare for tuning, and have been looking into widebands. I have two questions. First is what you guys recommend for a wideband. I've been looking into the Innovate and AEM products, but am open to any other. Second, having read the sticky on "How to tune an Evo," I learned that its better to install te 02 sensor before the cat, since placing after the cat could give give unreliable AFR readings. However, since I'm not running a cat, does this still matter? My goal is about 330-350 on 93 octance, and used as a DD. Current mods include DP w/ cat delete, exhaust, bov, clutch. Dont flame on the BOV, I bought the car with it on...haha. Thanks for the help!

I put the Bung on my TP, at the entry near the flange for the DP. Plenty of room to be placed at 12 o'clock, ran the harness through one of the rubber plugs under the passenger seat. Went with the AEM Uego and a single steering colum pod. Make sure you solder a 3ft wire and connector to the blue wire for loging.

i would recommend the inovate lc-1 im sure others are good as well, but i personally got this one and it works really well so far. as far as placement i think you want it as far upstream with out being to close to the turbo and before the cat. since you dont have a cat that part shouldn't be a problem.
but i think a good spot for the bung is at the 12:00 position right before the down stream flange on the down pipe. there is a grommet right above that area for the sensor wiring to go right into without modification or drilling more holes.

Zeitronix is the best quality, USA made, designed by engineers from the medical instrumentation field, datalog out of the box, compatible with evoscan and mitsulogger and on and on.
We were a customer of zeitronix long before becoming a source for the zeitronix products.
Our Christmas deals are about to end so I would pay this thread a visit!
