ZT-2 Lcd screen slow!!!

is it just mines or is the refresh rate kinda slow on the screen...i mainly just use it for peak hold cuz it lags when i do a pull i don't know what afr i'm at....my buddy has an innovate, and man...that thing flickers so fast and is super accurate...

is there anyway to adjust the refresh rate? or get it to show other parameters like WGDC or load....etc that would be cool but i'm dreaming

In the zt-2 software on your laptop, go to SETTINGS, then Plot Settings and Comm Port. Refresh rate setting should be there.

Hmmm....mine doesn't seem to refresh slow. Wonder if you have a problem with the display unit itself. If you bought it from RRE, bring it back to them. I had a problem with my LCD screen before and RRE swapped out units for me no questions asked.

The LCD refresh rate is 3 per second. It's a Liquid Crystal Display . The LCD module is made by the same manufacture in Japan, which makes I-pod displays but even with best temperature specs the laws of physics and laws of liquid crystals apply. So when it is very cold it seams to be slowing down some.
On other hand our ZR-1 and ZR-2 gauges are using LED technology with 4/second refresh rate on the inner digits, which is pretty much human perception rate for the digits. The outer leds on the ZR-1 and ZR-2 gauges are refreshed at blazing 74/second, same as the Zt-2 refresh rate for each value.
