He's added rear O2 simulator code to his big multi feature patch. The patch hasn't been set loose in the wild yet though.

I've had the LC-1/LMA3/XD-16 for 2-1/2 yrs.
There are some unused (ing. on) slots in the fuse box, get a mini add a circuit from a auto parts store and run a 12v supply from there for the LC1/XD16. Ground your LC1/XD16 to the ECU metal frame behind the Glove box.
I use logworks and openport1.3 with no problem.

What's a "mini add a circuit"? Do you mean the fuse box by the driver or in the engine compartment?

I'm supposed to be determining the correct pin dimensions for the meth failsafe patch how-to, but haven't done it yet. Rear O2 is pin 73 on Evo 9s. :-)

So second o2 sensor CEL fix and ECU a/f inputs!! nice. I always thought the anti-fouler was iffy and an o2 simulator just added weight.

this "code" will not mess with my WB's output simulating the front O2 sensor would it?

No, it only affects the rear O2 signal. Why are you using the WB to provide front O2 input?

Yes, this is the cleanest, easiest rear O2 sensor CEL fix. The rear O2 sensor can be left anywhere in the exhaust line, and there will be no CEL. :-)

And it frees up another ADC input on the ECU which I'll be using to input the WB signal into the ECU for easier logging.

Come inspection time will this throw off the OBD scanner that they use to make sure your emissions equipment is functioning correctly?

I wrote code to simulate the rear O2 signal, and then this simulated signal takes the place of the real signal. None of the ODB-II routines in my ECU are altered or disabled, and my car does not throw a CEL, so it should pass inspection as well.

We need to find a way to remove the rear O2 and not have problems. I really don't feel like retaining my rear O2 in the exhaust stream if its not functional especially when running leaded fuel.
