I have been eye balling the Vishnu Tune for some time now. I read an article in Autoweek where they said, "simply mail in your ecu and in 2 days have 400hp and 400ft lbs". Now this is making me scratch my head. I have a bone stock IX MR and I don't race, I dont drag, and do a few Solo II events for fun. My car is My Daily Driver, and yes, I love this car, and Yes, I want to mod it, but I'm a realist, I have a wife, kids, mortgage, and cant be doing that modding stuff as much as past cars. So, this "tune" sounds too good to be true. Thing is, will these "tunes" make the car tempermental? Meaning, where Vishnu is, in the Bay area of CA (near San Francisco) is cool. Where I live in So CA in the low dessert area it gets to over 120F in the summer. Plus, I have NO access to 93 octane and have to settle for 91 CA **** gas. So guys and gals, is this 400hp and 400lbs (crank) worth the $750? or is just too good to be true? I have emailed Dynoflash like 100x's, tried to call and get really no answer from them, so that bad business turned me off from them, but they charge $300 for the IX, so WTF? Is there that much of a difference in what Vishnu does to justify 2x's the price? Im not mocking anyone or bashing, its just, I want honest HP and Torque and not get the run a round on a hope. I do not plan on doing no other mods at this time. Just the ECU Reflash on a completely Stock car....What do you think guys and gals, your opinion counts to me........Thanks.
