I know that some people have already been building something like this for their Evo's. Not sure if anyone has actually finished their project. Here is one from Ford that will be available from the factory. Could be handy.

I've had a CarPC for a couple years now. I use it for logging, digital gauges, and GPS, and some old-school games.

You can use a CarPC for whatever your want from MP3s, movies, GPS, cameras, logging, gauges, etc, etc, etc.

tuning would be a pain in the butt on that same of a screen i'd go cross eyed...but its pretty cool

I've been toying with the idea of a carputer for a while now. Mainly for entertainment purposes but I suppose I would/could do some tuning on it as well. I would probably mostly do data logging and export it to a laptop where it would be easier to read and work with.
