hey everyone. well i bought my car wrecked and its just about done. i have one question though. what is this tank?



also inside (center console) theres a button that shows a little intercooler or something? you can turn on manual or auto. what does that do?

the intercooler is sprayed to lower the temp of the intercooler itself, kinda like when you are hot and pour water on your face. The intercooler is your face and the water is water. The button allows you to either spray it manually (MANUAL POSITION) or let the ecu spray it automatically (AUTOMATIC POSITION) I use windshield wiper fluid. It comes in a 1 gal bottle and convieniently enough, the sprayer holds 1 gal.

 

well you can fill it with water lol and it keeps the temperature cooler for your turbo which enables it to inject more fuel in the long run it helps cool temp for you turbo lets you use more fuel without bigger injectors pretty much its a lil mod.. my friend had one like that on his srt-4. it works

 

the intercooler doesnt need to be sprayed btw. you can choice not to its not going to "hurt" the turbo it just "helps" it can only help you so it is a wise choice.

 

eh, at best i would say the effect is moderate... i wouldnt start making an "Intercooler Sprayer map"

 

well he isnt using no2 or co2 to spray into it its not going to be that effective your right but when he and if he choices to use a bottle to spray it helps !

 

so just put water in there? the lines are all messed up too. nothing is connected right... i guess ill have to head to the dealer and get a map or something. hopefully the sprayer works
