3" GM maf and MAFT setup w/ AP ??

Hello,

So over the winter I have added quite a few mods. - I have roughly 30 days or so until my appointment with Christian@cobb to get my car Pro-tuned. Ive kicked off an email but having talked to Christian I know hes a busy guy so maybe im just being impatient, so I figure Id throw it out to the community.

Now, I picked up an evo specific MAFT box and a 3"GM maf for fairly cheap, and Im wondering if the Tuner software will work with the maft setup? If so are there any other steps thats need to be done?

I can still run the stock setup, but I would like the GM maf for a bit quicker spool, VTA Tial 50mm. - Im in no real hurry, but I like to get things done if I have them.

As always whatever input is appreciated.

i just got off the phone with the guys over at cobb and they said that if the car will run with it on the stock ecu then the AP can use it.. the only problem you might run into is if you have the maftpro box where you can tune at that, and even then if you zero out all the setting on that box so all it does is translate the MAF signal you are still good.
