boost problem

Have a ralliart computer, in my evo 7 a while now use to turn up to as much as 23 psi at times, car ran smooth, installed a set of hks 272 cams and i have noticed that my blitz boost controller does what it wants now it goes above the set figure by as much as 3 psi. I have alson noticed that anything above 20 psi the car seems to be i dont know leaning out or something as the power delivery is not smooth as before. any ideas?

You need to get the car tuned after you install cams

the "not as smooth" sounds like knock. If timing is being pulled you can feel it.

Is your EBC based on duty cycle or actually boost pressure? If it's a duty cycle based controller, changes in engine VE can cause it to act differently. If there is a gain control you could try lowering that.

Getting tuned is absolutely crucial with cams.
