new dyno update! 340whp! =)

attached is my new dyno run while i was at Turbochargers.com on Monday 11/10/08. I went there since i did my preliminary run on their Mustang Dyno and wanted to compare the two runs. Previously, i pulled a best of 317whp and 328tq on their mustang dyno. This was a few months ago. Since then, i added my DLI ignition and totally revamped my tune. I am still using 24psi on pump gas. Stock cams, stock motor, stock intercooler, etc. Only intake/exhaust mods... on stock 9 turbo. So on the same dyno later i ended up making 340whp / 325tq! i was excited at the increase! I ran a 12.4 @110 granny shifting when i was at 317whp... i can't wait to hit the track again w/ my new 340whp! The air fuel does go lean at the top end for some reason that i can't explain... Im not sure why it does that. Richening the fuel in the map doesnt do anything. I got my injectors balance/cleaned at RC also. Wondering if there is anything else that could cause it? (im using ECUflash). Anyways, dynograph attached. Mods in my signature

Dfferent temps will yeild different results, you might want to compare the two days that you dynoed.

btw... what is logged on the dyno sheet is: Boost (light line at top), HP and TQ(dark lines), and then at the bottom AFR wideband. The MAX column at bottom shows my peak power.

oh on a side note... my friend dynoed his new EVO X GSR and we made 293whp on just an intake, forge wastegate actuator, and MBC set at 24psi! no tune! and his AFRs were still rich at 10.0-9.8

yes, there was definately a difference in temps from the two dates. The first time i was there it was in the high 90s. This last visit it was about 75. But hardly the curve shows i am making more top end hp then my last visit. Im sure its got to do w/ the new tune. One thing to note is that im still making the same amount of torque on both runs at the same boost... so im guessing its not that far off since torque stayed the nearly the same... just top end peak whp went up dramatically.

Nice numbers! I dyno'd there this summer abou 90 degrees and put down 37something hp and 384 tq. with alchy at aprox. 30 psi tappering to 26 or so. I plan on going back soon. Would you mind pming the price they charged you to dyno?

What are you IDC's? If your AFR is going lean up top, and have no control, I would say your maxing out your injectors... I believe they go "static" around 110%

i would definately agree... but i logged my IDCs and at peak it showed 94%. Thats the puzzling part... it seems there has to be another outside factor that is causing this. The GOOD part is that i have absolutely NO KNOCK. Zero... If driven hard and hotlapped... i may coax a 1 count... but thats it. So im not too worried about it... and its making alot of power. But i would like to KNOW why the heck its doing that? My lean spool is set at 2500(on) 7900(off)... but if that was a factor im guessing it would affect my afr during spool also... which it doesnt. its only top end. Weird huh?
