How to read ECU error codes with EVOSCAN ?

This is probably been answered a milliong times, but a quick search didn't yield me an answer. I am trying to figure out how to read ECU error codes with EVOSCAN or ECUFLASH. I have a SERVICE ENGINE SOON light on and trying to troubleshoot some new after track day noises. I just realized I haven't figured out how to read the error codes. Any info on how to pull that from the ECU would be great.

Thanks
M

EvoScan has it down in the right hand corner ("Read DTC's)

Holy Crap. how did I miss that. Ok I justify my moronic post in that the title will make it very easy for another moron like me to find the answer really quick.

Thanks

Bringing this back but I also have a "Service Engine Soon" light on and when I try to read DTC using EvoScan it says everything is okay. Is there something I am doing wrong? I need to figure out why my car is idling up and down and coming close to shutting off. Thanks.

EVOscans DTC feature is temperamental. I have the best results doing the following:

With cable hooked to car and laptop, turn key to the "on" position and open EVOscan. As SOON as you open EVOscan, press the "Read DTC's" button. Then it will usually work.

If you have already had EVOscan open, it may not work. You may need to close it and do what I said above.
